Icky Yucky Disease resources

Now that you've started research on your disease topic, here are some resources that you might find helpful.  These sites should provide you with solid background information for your disease, beyond the basic web "consumer" sites.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

National Institutes of Health

World Health Organization

Once you get beyond the basics, you'll need to look online for newspaper and magazine sources.  Some places to check:

NCCS Library page for Database searches

iCONN Library search

New Canaan Library research page: you'll need to enter your library card number to access this.  Or use your local library's resources.  If you don't have a library card, get one.

If you find additional helpful resources that you'd like to share with the group, please leave a link in Comments.

Welcome to the blog

Hello 7Lilley Science!

This is going to be our class blog. You'll be required to check in periodically to read posts and articles of interest, current events, and information that will be helpful to you in studying science this year. Occasionally you'll be asked to comment here on articles and blog posts. We will go over directions and guidelines for that soon.
